MCOT, OSMEP organize "sme Together We Are one"

BANGKOK, April 5 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm, has joined forces with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion (OSMEP) and other business alliances in organizing an event to declare their co-support for the country's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). MCOT President Kematat Paladesh led executives of MCOT Radio FM 96.5 to join those from OSMEP and other business alliances in organizing the SMEs Day event, dubbed the "sme Together We Are one”, in Bangkok on April 4 to announce their joint move on supporting and promoting Thai SMEs for the sake of their sustainable growth in the long run. According to the MCOT president, MCOT is ready to use the company's media channels to disseminate news reports and information that are useful for SMEs nationwide. The MCOT president said the joint move between MCOT, OSMEP and other public and private business alliances, including educational institutes, is believed to not only strengthen Thai SMEs for their sustainable development and growth potential, but also stimulate and sustain the national economic growth. Based on the joint move, four main programs will be launched, including those on supporting the creation of SMEs networks, developing of Thai SMEs products to meet international standards, exploring more marketing channels for Thai SMEs and upgrading outstanding SMEs in Thai provinces to meet the Thailand 4.0 benchmark with their total economic value of over 3 billion baht. Meanwhile, OSMEP Director-General Suwanchai Lohawatanakul revealed that his office has also invited experts in business marketing strategies to share their knowledge and experiences with Thai SMEs and has organized activities with allied parties to support local SMEs in comprehensive aspects, including organizing international business matching events for them to boost their sale volumes and values, which would propel and sustain the national growth in the long term.
