Minister to be keynote speaker at business forum

Manama, Sept. 11 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza will be the keynote speaker at the Bahrain-British Business Forum, which Bahrain will host on September 18. More than 200 Bahraini and British businessmen from various sectors of production and services will participate. The minister will talk about renewable energy plans and projects in Bahrain and investment opportunities available to local and international companies. Dr. Mirza welcomed the forum and stressed on the historical 200-year old relations between Bahrain and Britain, especially in the field of electricity, water and renewable energy as well as the long-standing trade relations. He thanked the organising committee for its efforts in preparing for the event and contributing towards strengthening historical relations between the two friendly countries. The organisers thanked the minister and officials for their positive response on all organizational matters and sponsorship of the event.
