Ministers from 26 countries confirm participation in St. Petersburg Economic Forum - organizing committee

ST. PETERSBURG, May 16. /TASS/. Ministers from 26 countries have confirmed their participation in the 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in early June, the forum’s organizing committee said at its meeting on Tuesday. "Taking part in the forum will be 39 ministers from 26 countries, which have confirmed their participation to date. The total number of those who have confirmed their participation in the registration system is more than 5,000 people," Russian Presidential Adviser Anton Kobyakov said. Kobyakov added that senior officials of 72 Russian territorial entities, more than 250 CEOs of big foreign companies and more than 700 heads of Russian companies have confirmed their participation in the 2017 forum. A total of 2,500 applications from media workers in 35 countries have been received. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held on June 1-3. This year the events at the forum will be held under the motto "In Search for a New Balance in Global Economy." TASS is SPIEF’s general media partner and the official photo-hosting agency.
