Ministry of Commerce's workshops to strengthen SMEs

BANGKOK, May 2 (TNA) - The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) are organising workshops to train small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) nationwide. Deputy Commerce Minister Suvit Mae-sin-cee said on May 2 that the MOC Biz Cub workshops were being organised to train SMEs from all 77 provinces and promote their networking. He invited SMEs that are the members of the MOC Biz Club to attend the workshops that are set in seven provinces. The activities are scheduled in Chon Buri province on April 30-May 2, in Tak on May 17-19, and in Udon Thani on June 7-9. They will also take place in Chiang Rai, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Ayutthaya provinces. Such a workshop consists of four main activities: the trade fair named MOC Biz Club Showcase 2016; a workshop on networking, business plan presentations; business matching; and tips on business strategies compiled from MOC Biz Club members' brainstorming. The MOC Biz Club now has over 8,000 members in all 77 provinces. (TNA)
