Ministry of Economy and Commerce Showcases Its E-Services in Riyadh

Doha, May 25 (QNA) - The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, through its participation in the 15th commercial exhibition for the members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held in Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 22 -26 May, displayed its smart E-services provided through its website and mobile application. The Ministry of Economy, Commerce has organized a pavilion in cooperation with Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) and Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI). The Ministry's participation in this event embodies keenness of Qatar's leadership and the Government to enhance ties of economic cooperation develops inter-trade among Islamic countries and contributes to the success of efforts aimed at activating the Qatari private sector's role in building an effective partnership with its counterparts in Muslim countries. The Ministry's pavilion displayed reports and booklets on the investment climate in the State of Qatar and the incentives offered by the state to investors; major development projects that are being implemented; sectors that allow non-Qataris full investment and laws and legislation governing this sector. The Pavilion highlighted the smart E-services provided by the Ministry through its website and mobile application MEC_QATAR, in order to acquaint the public on smart electronic services provided to businessmen and investors including the renewal of services, the issuance of business licenses, the search for the brand name, renewal of business licenses and records and the establishment of companies, in addition to a variety of administrative services that enable entrepreneurs to follow up easily their transactions.
