Ministry of Economy Recalls IKEA PATRULL KLAMMA; PATRULL SMIDIG Safety Gates

Doha, July 30 (QNA) - The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of PATRULL KLAMMA and PATRULL SMIDIG pressure mounted safety gates of Al-Futtaim - IKEA company due to lack of stability of the door on the top of the stairs. The ministry said the recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain the extent of car dealerships' commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights. The ministry also stressed that it will coordinate with the dealership to follow up maintenance and repair operations and will communicate with customers to ensure implementation of the procedures to fix defects. The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
