MP: Budget bill examined by less dependence on oil revenues

Tehran, Dec 14, IRNA – A Majlis deputy said the next year budget bill is being examined through a resistance approach and less dependence on oil revenues. Gholamali Jaafarzadeh Imenabadi further remarked that all should believe that the only economic system accompanied by the Sacred Defense (Iraqi war) culture is the resistance economy and Iran’s economy has that advantage. “Iran’s economy enjoys many advantages for progress and development and has many resources and there is no room for concern about the country’s progress.” Imenabadi who is a member of Majlis Plan and Budget Commission said fortunately the budget bill was presented on time and expressed hope that its examination will end in due time, be forwarded to the Council of Guardians and then returned to the government before the close of the year. The representative of Rasht in the Majlis, said that the enemy is thinking about undermining the economic and cultural pillars of Iran. “But”, he added, “we will not allow the enemy to realize its goals and as a result economic pressures will not be imposed on the people.” The government is thinking about sustainable resources and tax bases are increased in the absence of tax coefficient, he said adding that 95% of tax income forecasts for this year have been realized so far./end
