NEC To Exhibit Inter-Agency Collaboration Solutions At World Cities Summit 2014

By Tengku Noor Shamsiah Tengku Abdullah SINGAPORE, May 26 (Bernama) -- NEC Corporation on Monday announced its participation in the World Cities Summit 2014 from June 1-4 to be held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, here. The World Cities Summit is held every two years aimed at encouraging ideas and discussions on practical solutions for modern urban challenges. In a statement, NEC said it will present its leading services and technologies which include its Inter-Agency Collaboration solution, which helps a wide range of government agencies to integrate and analyse data collected from various sensors and network systems using advanced analytic technologies and information sharing tools. It said the solution is composed of three technology pillars: Information Governance, Safety Awareness Network and Geo-spatial Analytics. Dr Paul Wang, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of NEC's Global Safety Division, will be sharing his thoughts on the costs of security in a panel discussion in the Safe and Liveable Cities track on June 1.
