No statement from China on reduction of participation in high-speed railroad construction amid financial situation - President of Russian Railways

CHELYABINSK, July 23. /TASS/. China has made no statements on a possible reduction of its participation in the project of the Moscow-Kazan high-speed railroad construction amid negative situation on China’s financial market, President of Russian Railways monopoly Vladimir Yakunin said on Thursday. The situation on China’s financial market only partially reflects the economic environment in the country, he said. "No statements have been made saying that the Chinese are not willing or are reducing their participation in the high-speed railroad. I think the Moscow-Kazan high-speed railroad with extension via Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Kazakhstan further to China is a perspective, and they’re surely targeting this perspective," Yakunin said.
