NTT Data Business To Make Malaysia A Regional Hub

By Rosemarie Khoo Mohd Sani KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 28 (Bernama) -- NTT Data Business Solutions Malaysia Son Bud, a reseller of enterprise application software, will make Malaysia its regional hub to service customers better across South East Asia. The company, formerly known as Business Formula (M) Son Bud (BFMS), is twelve months away into establishing the centre in Malaysia. General Manager Brian Dickinson said Malaysia's strategic location and easy means of communication were the main reasons that convinced the company to invest here. "Since acquiring BFMS in 2012, NTT Data Business Solutions have made significant investments in the automotive and manufacturing areas, leveraging on both our strong business ties with German-based SAP, a global software solution producer and NTT Data group capabilities. "Our goal is to expand our foothold in the Asia Pacific region and establish ourselves as the vendor of choice with SAP's software solutions tailored to the needs of customers from the engineering, construction and commodity trading sectors," he told a press conference to announce the company's future plans. Dickinson said the company would widen its offerings and expertise in SAP’s cloud solutions and mobility such as SAP Fiori, SAP HANA and Suite on Hana to help customers improve business outcomes across their entire value chain. NTT Data is the system integration and service arm of Japan-based Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Group which provides consulting, application services to information technology outsourcing and cloud-based solutions. It has 400 SAP consultants in South East Asia and Australia and with over 100 local customers in Malaysia. --BERNAMA
