Official: Chabahar Playing Important Role In National Economy

Tehran, Sept 17, IRNA – Economy and Investment Deputy of Iran’s Free Zones underlined the important role played by Chabahar Free Zone and said the zone can help the national capacity in different fields of trade and economy. Mohammad Moezedin said that Chabahar possesses important capacities and potentials for the development of industries such as car manufacturing and production of household appliances. He further remarked that by providing investment grounds the zone, in addition to exports and supplying demands of foreign markets would be capable of playing a stronger role in national economy. “Investors in Chabahar Free Zone are considered the most successful investors,” he said while pointing to the grounds available in the zone as a result of investment and creation of job opportunities. Terming Chabahar a strategic zone, Moezsedin said: “Investment in this region is the most secure and effective one which would entail progress of regional development targets.” Pointing to the operation of the third car manufacturing poles in Chabahar, he said the zone is capable of turning into one of the most important car manufacturing poles and could become an axial point for manufacture of different cars./end
