Official: Iran To Export Gas-Fuel Oil To Iraq, Afghanistan

Tehran, Aug 2, IRNA – Managing Director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company ( NIOPDC) said that Iran will export gas oil and fuel oil to Iraq and Afghanistan. According to the report of Shana News Agency, Mustafa Kashkouli said that by exploitation of new phases of South Pars gas field and increase of 100 million cubic meters of natural gas per day in the near future, a noticeable amount of liquid fuel would be released, which will provide a good capacity for export to neighboring countries. He noted that export of diesel fuel to Afghanistan has been finalized, and said that the oil products will be exported to Afghanistan soon. Kashkoli continued that exporting gas oil to Iraq is also on progress to be finalized. The official also talked about efforts to export Liquid Petroleum Gas, and said that neighboring countries of Iraq and Afghanistan are markets for Iranˈs LPG./end
