Official: Iran ready to boost cooperation with Turkmenistan

Tehran, May 24, IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari stressed Iran’s readiness to increase cooperation with Turkmenistan. Safari made the remarks in a meeting with Wafa Hajiyev, the deputy foreign minister of Turkmenistan. He emphasized Iran's readiness to increase cooperation in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, and transit as well as facilitating transportation along the north-south corridor.
