Official: Russia willing to help Iran in drilling projects

Ahvaz, Nov 11, IRNA – Representative of Russia's International Drilling Company said that his company is ready to help Iran in the development of its oil fields. 'Iran and Russia have friendly relations in political and economic fields and we are willing to take part in Iran's oil and gas projects and development of Khuzestan's oilfields,' Nikolay said in an exclusive interview with IRNA on the sidelines of Khuzestan Industrial Equipment Exhibition on Wednesday. He reiterated that Iran is a progressive company in the field of oil and gas industry, and said, 'Russia also has high expertise in the field of oil and gas and drilling of oil wells, especially onshore drilling.' 'I have visited Iran six times before and become familiar with Iran's oil and gas achievements; we hope that we could invest in Iran and have a good present in its oil projects,' Nikolay added.
