Oil Minister :South Pars Development Will Go On Stream By Year-end

Tehran Dec 8, IRNA -- Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said on Saturday that development of South Pars phases 12, 15 and 18 will become operational by March next year. Zanganeh stressed the need for production from the giant offshore gas field. He required the contractors to complete carrying out the projects about development of South Pars field. He said in the meantime that implementation of the development projects are keeping up with the time-frame envisaged by the contracts. He said that drilling operations are lagging behind schedule, calling on the contractors to speed up carrying out the five projects given preferences by the ministry./end
