Ooredoo to Launch Ground Breaking Fibre Technology in Lusail

Doha, October 14 (QNA) - Ooredoo announced that it will roll out first-in-class Fibre Home devices to Lusail, to ensure Qatar's first smart city is fully connected. Furthermore, Ooredoo is partnering with NETGEAR to bring AX Wi-Fi based Orbi to customers in the future. Orbi AX will support bandwidth-hungry applications, such as 4K video streaming to multiple devices simultaneously, and will accommodate to hard-core gamers. To accommodate Lusail City's ground-breaking smart city plans, Ooredoo will provide a NETGEAR Orbi Hub device that uses the latest technology, in terms of Tri-Band Wi-Fi and provides Wi-Fi coverage of up to 200sqm, to all Ooredoo Fibre customers in Lusail.
