OPEC-Russia meeting to take place in Vienna in 2016 - al-Badri

LONDON, October 6. /TASS/. The meeting of representatives of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries /OPEC/ and Russia will take place next year as planned, OPEC Secretary-General Abdullah al-Badri said on Tuesday. "We meet Russia every year, once in Vienna and once in Moscow. Two months ago we had a meeting with Minister /of Energy Alexander/ Novak in Moscow, and he’ll come to Vienna next year to meet us," Secretary-General said, though he refused to say when technical experts of Russia and the cartel will meet next time. Earlier Alexander Novak did not rule out such a meeting. Russia is ready to discuss the current situation on the oil and gas markets. Some OPEC member-states offer a meeting at the expert level.
