Opportunities To Invest In Samosir's Hospitality Industry Wide Open

Pangururan, North Sumatra, Aug 26 (Antara) - The investment opportunities in the hospitality industry in Samosir island district, North Sumatra, are still wide open for both domestic and foreign investors, noted Samosir District Head Mangindar Simbolon. "Investors still have a wide opportunity to invest in the hospitality industry here as the number of tourists visiting Samosir Island continues to increase every year," Simbolong stated here on Tuesday. He emphasized that investment and business in the hospitality industry remained promising due to increasing occupancy rates from year to year. "The number of tourists visiting Samosir continues to increase, particularly during the holiday season," the Samosir district head stated, adding that the local administration in cooperation with the culture and tourism office was intensively promoting Samosir`s tourism potential, among other things through "Horas Samosir Fiesta." He remarked that the Horas Samosir Fiesta is an annual event of the Samosir district office of culture and tourism in North Sumatra to promote the local tourism potential. Simbolon noted that the fiesta is intended to support Samosir district administration`s vision of making the district an innovative, environmentally based tourism destination in an effort to make "Visit Samosir 2015" a success.
