Over 14m Tons Gas Condensate Exported From Pars Energy Zone

Tehran, Jan 21, IRNA - Over 14.531 million tons of gas condensate and petrochemical products, worth $11.804 billion, were exported from the Pars region in southern Iran during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2012), Director General of the Customs Department of the Pars Special Energy Zone Ahmad Pour-Heydar said Monday. Speaking to IRNA, the official said that the products were exported to different countries including China, the UAE, India, Indonesia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, Romania, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, he noted during the said period, over 545.5 tons of commodities, worth $1.790 billion, were imported to Iran via the Customs Department of the Pars Special Energy Zone./end
