Over $1b Worth Of Gas Condensate Exported

Bushehr, Oct 28, IRNA – Customs director of Pars Special Zone said one billion and 67 million dollars worth of gas condensate was exported from Pars Port Complex from September 20 to October 20, 2012. Ahmad Pour-heydar told reporters on Saturday that this amount of gas condensate in nine consignments with the weight of more than one million and 300 thousand tons have been exported to different countries. He continued that in this period of time the total non-oil and gas condensate exports from Southern Pars region was around two million tons in weight, worth of more than one billion and 500 million dollars, which compared with the same period in the last year, has increased 14 percent in weight and 5 percent in price. Concerning imports of goods and equipment in the region in this period of time, the director said that 518 consignments weighing 37 thousand tons and worth of more than 238 million dollars have entered into the region./end
