Over 1m Tons Of Commodities Exported To Iraq From Mehran

Mehran, Ilam prov, July 21, IRNA – Iran has exported over 1 million tons of commodities worth $275 million to Iraq from Mehran border crossing in the first four months of the current Iranian year, director of Ilam province customs office announced on Saturday. In an exclusive interview with IRNA, Khalil Heidari said that construction material, plastic and metal products, ironware, auto spare parts and agricultural products constituted Iranian exports to Iraq. Iranˈs exports have registered a 36 percent increase in terms of weight compared with the same period last year, he said. Heidari added that Iran imported 544 tons of commodities worth $1.36 million from Iraq through Mehran in the mentioned period./end
