Over 4,600 young entrepreneurs received AZN 308 m in low-interest loans so far in Azerbaijan

Baku, February 11, AZERTAC The National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support under Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Economy has granted a total of AZN 307.9 million in low-interest loans to more than 4,600 young entrepreneurs so far in the country, Sahib Mammadov, deputy Minister of Economy told journalists. “This enabled the creation of more than 14,200 new jobs.” He noted that providing preferential financial assistance is one of the mechanisms of supporting business activities and increasing youth employment. “Various events, including seminars, trainings, business idea competitions involving international experts were held last year,” Mammadov added.
