Over $8m Medical Equipment Exported

Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA – Secretary of the Union of Medical Equipment Exporters Reza Kompani said on Sunday that over eight million dollars worth medical equipment were exported. Kompani said the exports indicated the progress of science and technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran. ˈˈIran used to import such equipment from abroad, but, it is currently a major exporter of such technology.ˈˈ He said that on the whole, export of medical equipment has shown favorable growth. Elsewhere in the interview, Kompani said 34 countries, including Russia, Latin America and certain European countries are customers of the Iranian medical equipment./end
