Pakistani Politician Hails Iran’s Resistance Economy

Islamabad, March 15, IRNA – A Pakistani political leader on Saturday said that Iran has been pursuing policy of resistance for last 35 years part of which is resistance economy. Talking to IRNA, Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Agha Murtaza Poya said that Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has rightly pointed out that resistance economy will help the nation develop independent economy. Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with a group of economic activists and government officials. He said that Ayatollah Khamenei is a wise and courageous leader who has been providing guidance to his nation against western hegemony, adding, “The Ayatollah is not only leader of Iran but a spiritual guide for the whole mankind.” The political leader reiterated that because of the guidance of the Supreme Leader, the Iranian nation could confront all western challenges. Poya added that Iran has become a role model for rest of the world. “The Islamic economic system is the only solution to end the economic crises in the world,” he said. He added that the resistance economy is a long-term and dynamic policy which guarantees future of any world country. He viewed that western states have tried their utmost to isolate Iran but the Islamic Republic, through following the policy of steadfastness and resistance, undermined all western plots against them. The political leader said that Iran’s resistance policy has proved to be successful against world powers./end
