'Pay If You Want To Land' Remark On MAS

By Saraswathi Muniappan NEW DELHI (India), Aug 30 (Bernama) -- A news portal, The Indian Republic, made a nasty remark on Malaysia Airlines (MAS) in its recent article saying that Malaysia's national carrier was offering "Pay if You Want to Land" offer. The article entitled, "LOL: After Air India's Low Fares, Malaysian Airlines launches Pay If You Want to Land" offer!," was written by writer Sarah Abraham, who wrote about the on-going fare war among airlines in India in a satirical way. However, the remark on MAS was uncalled for given the issues faced by the carrier. "If you are flying international on Malaysian Airlines, we encourage you to make use of their premium service they call 'Pay If You Want to Land'," the writer wrote. Sarah went on to say flights on this particular scheme promise (pinky swear) that they will not fly over no-fly zones to save fuel. --BERNAMA
