Petrochemical Industries Have Reached Self-sufficiency

Shiraz, March 17, IRNA – Countryˈs petrochemical industries in the fields of infra-structure, design, engineering and installation have reached self-sufficiency and these affairs are done by Iranian experts, said an expert. Managing Director of Petrochemical Industries Construction and Installation Company Gholamreza Adelzadeh told reporters on Saturday afternoon that the job was done by foreign experts before the Islamic revolution and Iranians had nothing to do with the technical work. He said that industrial independence is a lofty goal, which is pursued in petrochemical industry. Adelzadeh continued that Iranian experts are active in oil and petrochemical engineering and infra-structure development; they are also able to transfer the services to every part of the country. He mentioned big projects being executed in Abadan and Bandar Abbas refineries as well as in Shiraz petrochemical plant./end
