Phuket presents gifts to 19 millionth visitor

PHUKET, THAILAND, August 17 (TNA) - Thailand's renowned southern resort Phuket Province has presented gifts to its 19 millionth visitor who is a Hong Kong businessman. Juthaporn Rerngronasa, Acting Governor of the state-run Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Monrudee Gettuphan, Director of Phuket Airport, tour operators and representatives of relevant agencies welcomed 28-year-old Kwun Wai Tang, who happened to be the 19,000,000th guest of Phuket in 2015 on August 16. The Hong Kong businessman arrived in Phuket with his girlfriend for wedding photo sessions via a Thai Airways International (THAI) flight, TG609, and they were overwhelmed with joy and gifts for him being the 19 millionth visitor of the southern Thai resort island this year. The gifts presented to the 19 millionth visitor to Phuket included a round trip Hong Kong-Bangkok air ticket and five-day hotel accommodation available in Bangkok, Pattaya or Hua Hin for his next visit. Besides, the Phuket Tourist Association gave him spa services and food vouchers. Kwun Wai Tang said he and his girlfriend love Phuket and have frequently visited the southern Andaman Thai resort island for its beautiful natural surroundings, cultures, traditions, delicious food and kind people.
