PM gives policies to top Thai envoys worldwide

BANGKOK, April 29 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha has told Thai ambassadors and consul-generals stationed in allied economies worldwide to help boost confidence in Thailand and national image internationally. Prime Minister General Prayut, who is also Chief of the army-led National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO), gave the policies during his meeting with 69 Thai ambassadors and 29 consul-generals, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bangkok on Wednesday. Present at the meeting, themed "driving Thailand toward stability, prosperity and sustainability", also included concerned ministers, high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and representatives from concerned agencies. The prime minister also told the top Thai envoys to help strengthen Thailand's cooperation with the international community, pursue economic diplomacy to enhance the country's competitiveness and special economic zones development, while also applying science, technologies and innovations for supporting the digital economy development and tourism promotion in the country.
