Tehran, Oct 3, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday dismissed the attempts to cut Iranian oil income, terming it a sort of battle, in vain hoping to deal a blow to the Iranian nation. Addressing a press conference, the President touched on imports in the first six months of the year and said it rose in weight but lowered in value, reaching 19,121,000 tons from 17,840,000 tons in the same period the previous year. He said the imports fell by 10 percent this year reaching $22.5 billion from 26 billion dollars last year.
