President To Hold Meeting With Kadin Administrators

Jakarta, Nov 4 (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to hold a meeting with the administrators of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) at Bogor Palace on Monday afternoon. The meeting will be held at Bogor Palace because President Yudhoyono and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono have been in Bogor for a working visit over the weekend. Kadin recently voiced its concern over the complaints from a number of businessmen about labor demands for a wage increase, which may have slowed down industrial activity. After labor rallies over the weekend at several places in Jakarta, Kadin Chairman Suryo Bambang Sulisto said Kadin wanted to find a solution to the wage problem. "We would like to find a win-win solution that is acceptable to all parties, particularly the companies and their workers," Bambang said. According to him, all parties affected by remuneration problems should return to the role and function of a tripartite alliance.
