President Inaugurates Several Industrial Projects In North Iran

Rasht, Gilan Prov, July 23, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad inaugurated three industrial projects in this provincial capital city Tuesday morning. The projects included an iron mill, an industrial gases producing firm and a tile manufacturing factory located in Rasht Industrial Park. The Khazar Iron Mill, built with a rls 1.8-billion-budget, will create jobs for 500 workers. Khazar Iron Mill is one of the biggest projects accomplished by Iran's private sector and can produce some 700,000 tons of steel bars annually. Meanwhile, the industrial gas producing firm was built with rls350-billion-budget and can produce 70,000 cubic meters of various industrial gases including argon, nitrogen and oxygen each year. The third project inaugurated by President Ahmadinejad was the development project of the Khazar Tile Factory increasing the annual capacity of the firm up to seven million tons.
