President Issues Directive On Iran-Burundi Investment Support Agreement

Tehran, July 7, IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday issued a directive on Iran-Burundi agreement to encourage and support investment. The agreement falls in line with Article 123 of the Constitution, passed by Majlis in June and endorsed by the Guardian Council later. Under the directive the agreement will be valid for 10 years and then can be cancelled in case one of the two parties announces its intention to that eeffect in written. In that case, the agreement will become null and void in a six-month time from the cancellation announcement./end
