President Rohani Stresses Expansion Of Co-op With India

Bishkek, Sept 14, IRNA – Iranian President Hassan Rohani, in a meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khorshid called for promotion of bilateral, regional and international cooperation, particularly in the economic area. The meeting was held on the sidelines of 13th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Kyrgyzstan on Friday. The Indian foreign minister, meanwhile, called for enhanced Tehran-New Delhi cooperation to help settle regional crises. Presidents of Russia, China, Iran, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan are present in the two-day Summit which kicked off on Thursday. The Islamic Republic of Iran is an observer member of the SCO./end
