ProphetStor Data Services Opens New Office In China

KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Bernama) -- ProphetStor Data Services Inc announced Wednesday that it has opened a new office in Shanghai, as part of its expansion plan into Asia. Chief Executive Officer Eric Chen said the new office will provide pre-sales and post-sales support, customer service and technical assistance to ProphetStor's growing base of customers in China. ProphetStor Data Services Inc, a leader in Software-Defined Storage, provides federated storage solutions to enable data centres to scale out and cut storage costs greatly for both commercial and open source solutions. "ProphetStor's China office indicates a strong footstep towards one of the world's most dynamic and rewarding markets. "With the appointment of Robert Ye as General Manager of China recently, we see great potential for developing alliances with key players in China's IT industry," Chen said in a statement Wednesday. He also said all Chinese partners will get direct and effective local support, which will facilitate the company's go-to market. ProphetStor, headquartered in Milpitas, California, has branch offices in Asia-Pacific regions to serve international customers. Meanwhile, Chen said, Ye will be responsible for sales and marketing, technical services, channel partners and strategic alliances.
