PTTEP to hold 10th IPTC next month

BANGKOK, Oct 23 (TNA) – PTT Exploration and Production Plc (PTTEP), an oil and gas exploration and production company and a subsidiary of PTT Plc, a Thai state-owned SET-listed oil and gas company, is ready to host an international petroleum technology conference and exhibition, showcasing innovations and technological advancements in Thailand, according to Tevin Vongvanich, president and CEO of PTT Plc. Mr Tevin said the 10th International Petroleum Technology Conference (IPTC) will take place under the concept of “Innovation and Efficiency Excellence for our Energy Future” at CentralWorld’s Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre in Thailand’s capital Bangkok from Nov 14 to 16. The event features conferences, activities, and exhibitions involving innovations and collaboration for technological development to sustain Thailand’s global competitiveness, he said. PTTEP, who will organize the IPTC for the second time, expects the number of visitors to reach 4,000 at this year’s event. Also, more than 80 oil and gas companies, including Shell, ExxonMobile, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Petronas, and Weatherford International, will take part. Mr Tevin added that PTT Group’s innovations and technologies, namely Dedicated Processing Center, Autonomous Underwater Vehicle, unmanned aerial vehicles or drones, as well as battery storage technology for electric vehicles and bioenergy, will be put on show. In addition, PTTEP will showcase its innovative technologies for increasing exploration success and enhancing production at the exhibition. (TNA)
