Qatar Chamber Discusses Investment Opportunities with CAR Delegation

Doha, September 18 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber hosted a meeting today for a delegation from the Central African Republic (CAR) headed by HE Minister Mohamed Yacoub Tahib, special advisor responsible for cooperation with the Arab World in the Central African Republic. The meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation relations and introduced the Qatari private sector and Qatari companies to the investment opportunities available in the Central African Republic. The minister said that his country was interested in strengthening cooperation with Qatar and was keen to attract Qatari investments, while highlighting a number of investment opportunities in his country in the fields of agriculture, mining and oil. He called on Qataris to visit the Central African Republic to learn about the investment climate and the facilities provided by the government in support of foreign investments. On his part, Qatar Chamber first vice-chairman Mohammed bin Ahmed Towar said that the Chamber was ready to provide assistance to promote Qatari investments in Central African Republic and to encourage Qatari businessmen to invest there in view of Qatar's intention to boost its investments in the African continent and explore investment opportunities available in all sectors.
