Qatar Finance and Business Academy Organizes Info Session in Cooperation with CFA Society Doha

Doha, May 19 (QNA) - Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) in collaboration with the CFA Society Doha organized a free CFA information session on Tuesday May 8, in order to create an awareness for finance professionals on the importance of being certified in a fast moving world and give participants an idea as to what they can expect from taking this course at QFBA. Commenting on the occasion, Acting CEO of QFBA Dr Mohammed Abdullah Al Emadi said that QFBA has since inception "have been implementing innovative approaches in honing the right skills among finance professionals. In sync with the Qatar National Vision 2030, we have taken it upon ourselves to keep the young professionals abreast with changing economic conditions and how they best strategize workable solutions that aim towards operational excellence and organizational prowess. Such initiatives only strengthen our motto and reach out to masses." For his part, Executive Director at CFA Society Qatar Enis Kefi said that the mission of CFA Society Doha is "to raise the professional standards in the Qatar capital market by supporting the professional development of our members and of the entire investment community." He added that "this event is a significant step in this direction. The free session hosted by QFBA is one of the activities designed to inform investment professionals about the need to invest in their education and about the benefits and the challenges of the CFA Program. We are extremely happy to join hands with QFBA in order to drive the Qatar Vision 2030 ahead. This is just the start and we would keep hosting such initiatives more often to increase the professionalism in the Qatar financial markets."
