Qatar Insurance Reports Profits of QR711 Million in First Nine Months of 2016

Doha, October 19 (QNA) - Qatar Insurance Company disclosed Tuesday its financial statements for the third quarter of 2016, recording net income of QR 711 million. Adding profits of non-controlling interest, net income rises to QR726 million. The figure is higher compared to the same period of last year, when it made QR 693 million. This represents an increase of 2.6% year-over-year. Total income meanwhile came in at QR1,226 million, relatively unchanged from the QR 1,212 million achieved during the same period of last year. In percentage terms, its a 1.11% increase. The company's equity meanwhile grew to QR8,176 million, compared to QR5,994 million achieved in the first nine months of 2015. This represents a growth of 36.4%. (QNA)
