Qatari Ties with Algeria Strong, HE Foreign Minister Says

Doha, November 23 (QNA) - HE Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah described Sunday bilateral relations with Algeria as advanced and dynamic. His Excellency was present during the opening of the new headquarters of the Algerian embassy in Qatar. Speaking to Qatar News Agency, HE the Foreign Minister said that the fifth meeting of the supreme joint committee chaired by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and Algeria's Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal was a reflection of the strong relations. The meeting, which was held today, dealt with all facets of bilateral cooperation and the developments in the region. Additionally, HE the Foreign Minister said that the two sides discussed how the Arab world can overcome challenges posed by this period and the role Algeria can play in that regard. His Excellency also expressed his happiness with the visit of Algerian Prime Minister Sellal and his accompanying delegation to Qatar. (QNA)
