Quadrilateral energy cooperation discussed in Ashgabat

Baku, May 1, AZERTAC Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and the European Union have discussed prospects for the energy cooperation in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. Azerbaijani Energy Minister Natig Aliyev was accompanied by Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkmenistan Vahdat Sultanzade at the meeting. The meeting focused on the ways of mutually beneficial cooperation on delivering natural gas of Turkmenistan to Europe from the Caspian region via Turkey. Natig Aliyev also met the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. They stressed the importance of cooperation in the energy field.
