RAILWAY OF TAVANTOLGOI - ZUUNBAYAN ROUTE TO BE BUILT UNDER CONCESSION AGREEMENT

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ During the Cabinet Meeting on May 23, a decision was made to construct a railway in Tavan Tolgoi-Zuunbayan route under the concession agreement. In connection with it, ‘Zuunbayan Railway’ Company will be established. Not lower than 51 percent of its shares will be owned by Mongolian Railways state-owned company. Constructing 414km-long rail track in Tavantolgoi-Zuunbayan route will contribute to the increase of transportation and export of mining and industrial products and development of regional socio-economy.
