Rials 49 Trillion From National Development Fund Reserves Allocated To Industry, Mines

Tehran, Feb 6, IRNA – deputy minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Masoud Movahhedi said on Tuesday that rials 49 trillion from National Development Fund reserves was allocated to industry and mine projects. He told reporters that eligible people have been introduced to banks to receive rials 8 trillion of the sum. So far rials 1.5 trillion of rials 8 trillion have been paid to projects, he added. Movahhedi announced that $12.5 billion is planned to be paid to producing units. The government had undertaken to channel part of the revenues coming from cancellation of energy subsidies in the first phase to the industry sector, but, the delay to introduce a mechanism to support the manufacturing units caused complaints from the parliament./end
