Rosoboronexport hopes for intensive talks at Turkey IDEF defence fair

MOSCOW, May 5. /TASS/. Russia’s main arms exporter Rosoboronexport hopes to conduct intensive negotiations at the International Defence Industry Fair IDEF-2015 in Turkey, head of the Rosoboronexport delegation Anatoly Aksyonov told TASS in an interview on Tuesday. Rosoboronexport intends to intensify cooperation with Turkey and countries of the region in general. During IDEF-2015 it is planned to hold a series of talks and presentations of new types of Russian defence industry samples, as well as programmes of modernisation of previously delivered military equipment," said Aksyonov. The Russian stands traditionally attract many foreign delegations, the official added. "So, in 2013 Rosoboronexport’s stand was visited by 52 delegations. I am confident that in 2015 the negotiating process in Istanbul will be highly intensive," he said. The IDEF-2015 international exhibition will be held from May 5 to May 8 in Istanbul. According to the organisers, the event is expected to be attended by more than 700 companies from 46 countries. The largest expositions will be presented by Turkey (265 companies) and the Unites States (101 companies). The pavilions of Germany (50 companies), the UK (45 companies) and France (34 companies) will also feature large expositions.
