Rovnag Abdullayev: SOCAR doesn`t intend to buy Total`s gas stations in Turkey

Baku, May 2, AZERTAC President of Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev has refuted Turkish media reports alleging that the company plans to purchase filling stations of French Total in Turkey. “These reports are not true,” he told journalists. Abdullayev said “we do not have such plans now”, but did not rule out that “the issue may be considered in the future”. The SOCAR president also highlighted ongoing construction of Star oil refinery in Izmir’s Petkim peninsula, and the 3rd largest port in Turkey, Petlim.
