Russia’s foreign minister, EEC chairman discuss cooperation of EAEU with third countries

MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) with third countries with Chairman of the board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan on Monday, the Ministry reported following the meeting. "The meeting focused on pressing issues related to the development of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as potential deepening of ties between the Union and third countries and integrations," he report said. Earlier on Monday Lavrov said that Moscow stands for expanding integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union as it is aware of the importance of keeping a single global system. Sargsyan said the Union’s foreign trade operations are developing, adding that the organization has to lay out priority groups of countries for cooperation. Read more
