Russia mulls promoting trade ties with Iran

Yazd, Nov 24, IRNA - Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Dzhagaryan said on Monday that the ground is prepared for expansion of trade relations between Moscow and this Iranian central province. Speaking in a local gathering, Dzhagaryan stressed that the Russian businessmen have good relations with their counterparts in Yazd province. The Russian envoy arrived in Yazd province Sunday evening to hold talks with provincial tradesmen. Iran-Russia trade currently stands at $5 billion a year, while experts believe that the figure can be at least quadrupled./end
