Russia, Turkey has potential for boosting trade ties - Medvedev

GORKI, December 6. /TASS/. Russia and Turkey has the potential for boosting bilateral trade and economic ties, including via the implementation of big projects, Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the talks with his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim on Tuesday. According to Medvedev, the two countries historically have an impressive volume of trade ties, though it has declined recently. "We are able to boost them, implement big joint projects, which are numerous," he said. Also, PM said that the meeting with Yildirim is aimed at "boosting economic, investment, humanitarian cooperation in all sectors," and as the prime ministers meet for the first time in the past several year due to a period of complicated relations, they have all chances to make it fruitful.
