Russian economy can reach pre-crisis level in 2-3 years - AEON Board Chairman

MOSCOW, June 4. /TASS/. The Russian economy will need two - three years to return to the pre-crisis level and get rid of consequences of the coronavirus pandemic," AEON Board Chairman Roman Trotsenko said on Thursday. "We will manage to get out for about two-three years to the prior level in Russia," Trotsenko said. "We see now that lockdown lifting in all countries is not related to the appeared vaccine - it has not yet appeared so far. And not to the group immunity evolved. This is actually related, whatever it can be named, with causes of economic nature. This is because the probability of dying from the coronavirus is 1.5% and from starvation - 100%," the businessman said. "Actually, this is a conscious selection in favor of lockdown measures lifting for continuation of normal exchange of goods," Trotsenko added. Read more
