Russian, Vietnamese PMs to discuss joint investment projects on May 22

MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Vietnamese colleague Nguyen Xuan Phuc will discuss the realization of joint investment projects in Moscow on May 22, the Russian government’s press service informed. On the outcomes of the talks, the ministers plan to sign bilateral agreements on cooperation. "Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will hold talks with Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who will come to Russia on an official visit. The heads of government will examine the current issues of bilateral cooperation in the spheres of trade, economy, industry and energy, discussing the realization of major joint investment and infrastructure projects. On the outcomes of the talks, they plan to sign various bilateral documents on cooperation," the message by the Russian government informs. Medvedev and Nguyen Xuan Phuc will also take part in the opening ceremony of the year of Russia in Vietnam and the year of Vietnam in Russia, held in the years 2019-2020. These events are timed to the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. Read more
