Saghand Uranium Mines Become Operational

Tehran, April 9, IRNA – Saghand uranium mines, located in the central Yazd province, came on stream on Tuesday upon order of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The plants were inaugurated through a video conference on the occasion of National Nuclear Technology Day. A ceremony to commemorate National Nuclear Technoogy Day began here this morning in the presence of President Ahmadinejad./end
